Q + A

How do I get to Crested Butte?

For those flying in, the closest airport is Gunnison-Crested Butte Regional Airport (GUC), about a 40-minute drive from town, with seasonal flights from Denver, Dallas, and Houston. Alternatively, you can fly into Denver International Airport (DEN), Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ) or Grand Junction Regional Airport (GJT) and rent a car for a scenic drive—about 4.5 hours from Denver or 3 hours from Grand Junction. If you're driving, Crested Butte is accessible via Highway 50 and CO-135 from Gunnison. If you are looking for a little adventure, you can head up Cottonwood Pass from the east (County Road 306 out of Buena Vista) or Kebler Pass from the west.

How do I get to the Mountain Wedding Garden?

The Mountain Wedding Garden is located at 911 Gothic Rd in Mt. Crested Butte. From Crested Butte, head north on Gothic Road for about 2.5 miles. You will see a sign for Mt. Crested Butte Town Hall and Police Station. Turn left into the parking lot. **Please be aware that parking is somewhat limited and we are not able to reserve spaces. Carpooling is encouraged! Details on a "day of" shuttle option coming soon...

Where do I park?

There are about 25 parking spots on site. Alternate parking spots can be found at the base area of the Crested Butte Mountain Resort base area. The base is about one mile away and shuttles are available using Mountain Express. If you would prefer to arrange private transportation to and from the venue you can contact Alpine Express or Dolly's Mountain Shuttle.

What else should I know?

The ceremony will be held outdoors in the afternoon. A dinner and reception will follow the ceremony in the on-site pavilion. The pavilion is partially enclosed. We will have standing heaters set up.
